Process
You will be assigned to a team with three other artifact recovery experts. Each of you will choose one expert role to perform in order to complete your WPA job.
First, read the job listings below and decide to which expert role each person on your team will be assigned. Remember, each member of your team will be the "expert" in his/her area.
Role 1: Dust Bowl Area Artifact Recovery Expert: This expert will travel to the Dust Bowl region of the United States and spend one month in this area. You will learn the day to day life of this area and bring back meaningful artifacts that represent the day to day life in your area. You will need to document why each artifact is meaningful to the people of your region during the Great Depression. Upon completion of your job you will need to meet back with the rest of your artifact recovery group to combine your findings. Your group will need to organize your findings into a format to present to the WPA in Washington. Remember, a substantial bonus will be awarded by the WPA to the group who not only has the best collection of artifacts, but also has their artifacts professionally displayed in a way that captures the attention of the viewer.
